Lima, Peru - Perales Presbyterian Church

Since 2001, Good Shepherd has had the honor of ministering to and with the good people of Perales Presbyterian Church, located in a small suburb of Lima, Peru. The ministry of Perales Presbyterian Church has been primarily to children, ministering to the local population through Sunday school programs, and EBDV (Vacation Bible School).  In partnership with West End Presbyterian Church in Richmond, VA, we now offer an outreach ministry and Bible study to the women of Perales. Good Shepherd has partnered with the church leaders for the past 10 years and has developed a loving realtionship with the church and the community. We assist with community VBS  programs and work in the community in the schools, businesses, and anywhere else the Lord sends us.  For the last several years one of our major community efforts is the Perlaes Water Project which you can check out at www.peraleswaterproject.org Although Spanish is the local language, if you are interested in serving do not let that hinder you. Our trip this year was taken  January 8th - 15th,  2011 but please consider joining us next year.
